Manoj Bajpayee says his daughter wanted to see him cry: ‘She was very curious how her father…’

Actor Manoj Bajpayee has aced the craft of acting. Whether he is cast as Bhiku Mhatre, a Mumbai-based gangster in crime-thriller or as Srikant Tiwari, a world-class spy in The Family Man, he knows how to keep his audience engaged. Given his acting prowess, it seems difficult to mimic the actor, but his daughter Ava doesn’t shy away from imitating her father.

In a new interview, Bajpayee, while discussing whether he cries or not in his personal life, revealed that his daughter Ava always wanted to see him cry. He told Pinkvilla, “My daughter wanted to see me crying. I told her, ‘Nowadays, I cry very rarely. So, I don’t know when you will see it.’ But she was very curious about how her father will cry.”

Unfortunately, Ava got to see Bajpayee crying when the actor’s father RK Bajpayee passed away. He died in October 2021 due to health-related complications. The Bandaa actor added, “When I reached home just after my father passed away and I was holding my mom and I was crying, she (Ava) was just looking at me, ‘How my father is crying, how is he looking while crying’.” However, the next day, Bajpayee revealed, “She was imitating me.”

This is what Canada has been talking about, says Trudeau after U.S. charges Indian for plotting Sikh separatist's murder

“The Indian government needs to work with us to ensure that we’re getting to the bottom of this,” said Canada PM Trudeau

The indictment of an Indian national in a foiled assassination attempt against a Sikh separatist on American soil underscored what Canada has been alleging in Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s case and India must take it seriously, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said.

Mr. Trudeau said Wednesday that Canadian authorities have been working closely with their American counterparts since August on allegations about the Indian government’s involvement in Nijjar’s killing on June 18 in British Columbia province.

U.S. indictment accuses Indian intelligence official of ‘masterminding plot’ to kill Pannun:

The indictment suggests a link between the alleged plot targeting Pannun and the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar

Just after the U.S. Department of Justice publicly released an indictment alleging an Indian plot targeting Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a U.S.-based Khalistani activist wanted on terror charges, India set up a “high-level” enquiry committee to look into the allegations.

Calling the allegations a “matter of concern”, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that the purported links between the indicted individual and the Indian government official in the U.S. Department of Justice filings are not the “Indian government policy”.

The vertical drilling from the top of the hill makes swift progress as 31 metres of drilling work has been completed so far out of the 86 metres needed to reach the 41 trapped workers in the Silkyara tunnel, as per officials. Now the drilling work is being done to lay an 800/900 mm or 1.2 m diameter pipeline to aid the rescue.

The rescuers may face difficult weather conditions over next two days as rain, snowfall predicted on November 27.The teams have set a target of vertically drilling through 86 metres of mountain in 100 hours, if there are no unexpected hurdles.
Briefing the media about the vertical drilling, as the rescue operation entered its 15th day on Sunday, Additional Secretary (Technical, Road and Transport) Mahmood Ahmed said there could be a need to change the “needle” or head of the drilling machine after a point of time and necessary arrangements for the same are already in place.
